Job Summary
Marketing Program Coordinator role at HealthFitness in Research Triangle Park, NC. Responsibilities include development, planning, coordination, marketing and/or implementation of designated recreation and fitness programs, supervising staff and ensuring program outcomes; may involve instructing group exercise classes, attending facility events, and fitness floor oversight. Coordinates marketing of programs, creates electronic/print promotional materials, gathers and reports program outcomes, participates in budgeting, and aligns programs with client health strategies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 1+ years of experience, OSHA First Aid/CPR/AED certification, leadership in program delivery, budgeting/marketing experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Recreation, Kinesiology or related discipline
- 1+ years related experience or equivalent
- OSHA compliant Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated experience leading, coordinating and delivering effective programs including budgeting, marketing, and promotions
- Ability to organize and prioritize work demands
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
