Job Summary
Prepare qualification materials for competitive pursuits by collaborating with technical staff to develop outlines, write proposal sections, and submit final packages while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines. Support business development strategy nationwide by evaluating opportunities, coordinating go/no-go decisions, and advising on value propositions to drive growth and client relationships. Manage pursuit intake and distribution through internal tracking systems, monitoring contracting platforms to ensure clear accountability across all stages. Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends to inform pursuit strategy, while managing strategic engagement with major clients and attending outreach events to build networks. Contribute to brand stewardship through content development, social media, and internal communication campaigns aligned with company values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communication, or marketing
- 2 years of experience in marketing or related field
- Demonstrated experience with organizing, editing, and preparing long documents
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe InDesign
- Research and/or reporting skills and ability to collect and summarize relevant background information on clients, pursuits, or markets
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues remotely
- Relationship management skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships with technical staff at all levels of responsibility
- Ability to work independently, plan, multitask, and maintain an efficient approach to completing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Contracting (AEC) industry
- Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite applications
