Marketing Compliance Specialist, Fintech

Job Summary
Review and provide written approvals for Fintech partner marketing materials, including advertisements, digital content, social media, email campaigns, product landing pages, and disclosures. Ensure all reviewed materials comply with applicable federal and state regulations, including Reg Z, Reg E, UDAAP, TILA, and other consumer protection laws. Evaluate collateral for compliance with Visa, Mastercard, and other card network branding and disclosure requirements. Serve as a trusted compliance advisor to Fintech partners, guiding them through compliant marketing practices and helping interpret regulatory requirements. Assist in building scalable marketing review processes and tools to support the bank's growing Fintech program. Maintain thorough documentation of reviews and approvals to support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and network inquiries. Deliver ongoing training to Fintech clients and internal stakeholders on compliant marketing practices, emerging regulatory issues, and network developments. Manage and prioritize workload based upon preset SLA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in compliance, marketing review, or legal functions within a financial institution or Fintech company
- Deep understanding of consumer banking regulations and marketing requirements, including Reg Z, Reg E, UDAAP, and other applicable laws
- Familiarity with card network (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) rules and brand usage requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to balance compliance risk with practical business considerations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Candidates must reside in one of the following states: West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, or South Dakota
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Fintech companies or in a banking-as-a-service (BaaS) environment
- Previous experience working in a Fintech program within a regulated bank
- Knowledge of FDIC, OCC, or other prudential regulator expectations for third-party and Fintech partnerships
- Experience with digital financial products, embedded finance, or API-driven banking services
