Job Summary
Marketing Communications Specialist at STERIS focuses on delivering global AST communications to strengthen business performance and align messaging across product/service offerings. Responsibilities include executing communications strategies and campaigns, creating and distributing collateral (presentations, infographics, brochures, sell sheets, white papers, video content), developing content for newsletters, websites, emails, and other channels, organizing internal and external events (seminars, training, trade shows, town halls, customer/employee engagement), evaluating initiative effectiveness, managing contact lists for delivery, promoting OTOG culture, providing marketing collateral translations, and supporting internal initiatives (Brandgility branding resources, inbox/lead management, customer surveys). Required is a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Marketing and 1-3 years of diverse B2B communications experience; strong writing/presentation skills; exceptional project management; collaborative, flexible, and problem-solving capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or other appropriate field
- 1-3 years diverse B2B communications experience which includes a broad range of both traditional and digital communications work
- Strong communicator, able to write and present clear, effective, logical arguments.
- Exceptional project manager adept at managing high volume, complexity, fluidity and ambiguity while maintaining professional poise and delivering on commitments.
- Creative problem solver and accomplished “doer.”
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into clear, credible, compelling communications programs.
- Supreme collaborator, able to negotiate between multiple and varied stakeholders; recruit supporters; and manage by influence/persuasion.
