Job Summary
Lead the marketing and communications for the annual fundraising program; create donor-facing content across donor acquisition, retention and engagement; coordinate multimedia production (photography, video, digital assets) to support donor recognition and storytelling; provide marketing support for donor events and the Planned Giving Program; ensure brand-aligned communications across digital and print channels; require a degree in communications/marketing or related discipline with relevant experience and strong writing/editing skills; experience with CRM Raiser’s Edge and Campaign Monitor; strong stakeholder management and ability to manage multiple complex projects; collaborative and independent work style; commitment to continuous improvement and reporting on outcomes; role is a Full-Time position within Flinders University’s Advancement team in Bedford Park, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- degree in communications, media studies, marketing or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience, education or training (Bachelor's degree required)
- excellent writing and editing skills
- experience in writing, editing and proofreading quality written content
- extensive knowledge of contemporary and best practice communications, multimedia and marketing campaigns, especially for donor and prospective donor audiences
- experience using client management systems and software to support communications objectives (e.g., CRM Raiser's Edge and Campaign Monitor)
- ability to manage multiple complex projects
- commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
- ability to develop and deliver plans, measure outcomes and report on improvements
