Job Summary
Marketing Communications Manager leading a marketing team to drive content marketing and public relations initiatives for a regulated financial services environment. Responsible for translating complex product knowledge into engaging narratives, directing product positioning to support campaigns, upholding brand standards, monitoring media coverage, and analyzing campaign performance. Oversees marketing policies, vendor contracts, and the events/sponsorships function; collaborates across departments to support the annual marketing plan and budget. Manages a team including Marketing Campaign Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Content Specialist; mentors staff to achieve high performance and professional growth. Requires experience in brand marketing, PR/communications, campaign management, and data-driven decision making; proficient with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite; Florida driver’s license and ability to travel locally (~10%).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism/Media, Communications, Business, or related field
- 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible positions within marketing or related field
- Experience in brand marketing, public relations/marketing communications, and marketing project management
- Knowledge of credit unions or financial services, financial marketing, budgeting, and marketing regulations and compliance
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns and analyzing campaign data
- Strong project management and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Driver's license and ability to drive for duties
- Ability to travel locally ~10%
