Job Summary
The Marketing Communications Intern at Smith & Loveless will support a variety of marketing communications, including the creation of digital content such as eBlasts, social media posts, and blog entries. Key responsibilities include producing multi-format writing, assisting with visual asset creation using Adobe Creative Suite, drafting PR materials, event logistics, market research, and KPI tracking. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant degree program and have strong writing skills, with familiarity in digital marketing and social media best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a Journalism, Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or relative degree program.
- College-class level projects and portfolio examples are required.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior related internship experience is a plus.
- Ability to write for marketing, public relations and/or social media purposes.
- Possess working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft applications (especially INDD, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is desired but considered a plus.
