Job Summary
Marketing & Communications Intern role supporting digital marketing, content creation, and community outreach for a healthcare organization. Responsibilities include creating and publishing content across social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X), designing graphics with Canva, content planning, social engagement monitoring, supporting referral development and community outreach, maintaining outreach databases and directories, assisting with partnerships and event networking, performing weekly marketing audits and analytics, tracking performance metrics, maintaining online directories, supporting campaigns and newsletters, assisting with event preparation, and attending networking events as schedule permits. Ideal candidate is a current college student or recent grad pursuing Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related fields, with strong creative design skills, familiarity with social media and digital marketing, excellent written/verbal communication, organizational ability, and an interest in healthcare/mental health and community outreach. Portfolio submission encouraged.
Desired Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field
- Strong creative skills with an eye for design, branding, and visual communication
- Experience with Canva or similar design software preferred
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
- Interest in healthcare, mental health, communications, or community outreach is a plus
