Job Summary
Draft marketing proposals and RFP responses, edit firm website pages, and maintain accurate case lists and client data for pitches. Prepare submissions to legal directories like Chambers and Legal 500, draft internal and external communications, and support the events team with seminar materials and onsite activities. Manage administrative tasks and special projects while utilizing research databases to support various initiatives. This role requires balancing independent initiative with collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred
- Minimum of two years of marketing, business development or proposal experience, preferably in a professional services company or law firm
- Legal marketing experience is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products
- Proficient in applications specific to the legal industry
- Thorough knowledge of the marketing department and its overall purpose and objectives
- Ability to complete moderately complex assignments independently
- Ability to set day-to-day priorities based on incoming requests and overall objectives of the firm and the requesting party
- Ability to anticipate issues and opportunities and address them with little or no supervision
- Ability to identify and effectively use data, experience and judgment to formulate realistic and sound points of view
- Ability to effectively communicate the same to team members and attorneys
- Must be a self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous projects on tight deadlines
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, in oral and written form, with people at all levels within the firm and externally

- Working knowledge of Capital IQ
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg
- Working knowledge of Thomson Reuters Monitor Suite
