Job Summary
Marketing & Business Development Specialist responsible for leading and supporting marketing and client development initiatives for the firm. Key duties include managing social media presence, drafting communications and client alerts, developing marketing collateral, planning events, coordinating sponsorships, assisting with RFPs/RFIs/pitches, conducting market and client research, supporting client feedback programs, and maintaining the department's project management system. Requires collaboration with attorneys, firm leadership, and administrative teams; strong writing/editing, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities; experience with social media management and digital marketing platforms; familiarity with project management tools (Asana a plus); interest in AI and legal technology tools. Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, business development, or professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred
- Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment
- Experience with social media management and digital marketing platforms
- Familiarity with project management tools; experience with Asana is a plus
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI tools and legal technology platforms
- Collaborative, proactive, and client-service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with attorneys, firm leadership, and administrative teams
