Job Summary
Commercial Lines Marketing Broker in BC leads marketing and placement of a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance across BC. Collaborates with producers and leadership to provide strategic marketing support for HUB Top 200 and stewardship accounts. Advises and coaches producers on market availability, policy wording interpretation, placement strategy, and commercial lines products; develops deep knowledge of HUB programs and markets; builds and maintains relationships with insurers, MGAs, and Lloyd’s partners; represents HUB at carrier and industry events; participates in branch-wide market intelligence sharing and team strategy; requires 5+ years’ experience, an active Level 2 General Insurance License (BC), and strong communication skills; CAIB/CIP/CRM or active pursuit preferred. Salary range $75,000-$100,000 with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities. Background check required before offer; accommodations available during hiring process.
Required Qualifications
- Active Level 2 General Insurance License (BC)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience (intermediate or senior level)
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial lines marketing, placement, and policy wording analysis
- Established relationships with commercial carriers, MGAs, and Lloyd’s market participants
- CAIB, CIP, CRM designation (or active pursuit)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
