Job Summary
Coordinate logistics for independent bookstore trade shows and industry events; manage author care and travel arrangements; create detailed itineraries; support on-site event execution at trade shows; submit authors for panels and signings; coordinate shipping of books and marketing materials; track event participation; support indie preorder campaigns from planning through fulfillment; identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness; maintain project trackers, schedules, and workflows; act as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Publicity, and Operations; communicate with authors, agents, booksellers, and partners; develop scalable procedures to improve team efficiency; comfortable traveling to industry events; desire to work cross-functionally in publishing and bookselling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in publishing, marketing, events, project management, bookselling, or a related field
