Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Coordinate community events, health fairs, and outreach activities while capturing high-quality photos and videos of employees, providers, and clinic operations. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms, write captions, and design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials. Assist the Marketing Supervisor with on-site projects, distribute marketing assets to clinic locations, and monitor social media engagement for regulatory compliance. Print materials, edit content for accuracy, and collaborate with clinical staff to align messaging. Requires a valid driver's license for travel to Southwest Kansas locations and proficiency in Adobe or Canva.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between Genesis Family Health locations as needed
- Associate or bachelor's degree (or experience) in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field
- Proficiency in English and Spanish written and oral communication
- Fundamental knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques
- Previous experience with social media management, photography, event coordination, or content creation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with content management (e.g. Facebook)
- Experience with editing software (e.g. Adobe)
- Familiar with digital and social media marketing
- Creative eye for photography and storytelling
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of marketing projects
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software
- Basic photography and videography skills
