Job Summary
Marketing and Public Relations Specialist responsible for telling Water Street Mission's stories across print, digital, radio, TV, and events; collaborate with the Dir. Marketing and in-house/outside vendors to produce content, manage the marketing/communications calendar, and support advancement through fundraising communications, donor engagement, and partnerships; interview staff, volunteers, guests, donors, and community partners; develop content (text, image, video) aligned with Water Street Mission’s tone, voice, and brand; coordinate with ministries and Gift Officers to advance growth goals; assist with press releases, media pitches, and planned-giving marketing initiatives; produce and edit material in collaboration with the marketing team, and participate in analytics-driven content improvements; required to hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and 3–5 years of relevant experience in a sales or fundraising environment is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communication or related field
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience in a sales or fundraising environment an advantage
