Job Summary
Marketing and Content Specialist collaborates with internal partners across programs, community and philanthropy, technology, and administration to develop mission-driven content that elevates the Community Food Bank’s brand and supports fundraising, advocacy, and community awareness. Responsibilities include writing compelling stories through interviews with neighbors, donors, volunteers, staff, and partners; supporting strategic marketing, fundraising, and volunteer engagement; coordinating PR across traditional and digital media; producing and editing rapid-response content related to hunger relief, events, and organizational priorities; maintaining organizational voice and messaging standards; supporting graphic design, photography, video, and multimedia projects; applying best practices in nonprofit marketing and digital engagement; coordinating marketing requests and production across teams; supporting grant communications with the grants team; updating website content; creating illustrations and graphic design assets; and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, or related field
- Five years of experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ability to quickly learn new software platforms
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered if applicable and must be directly related to the functions and body of knowledge required
