Job Summary
Manage and oversee digital and traditional marketing efforts for the Harold Alfond Center, including social media administration, campaign development, and event coordination. Design, produce, and maintain brand consistency across recruitment materials and collateral assets while serving as a liaison to community colleges to drive workforce participation. Execute on-site event coverage and conduct regular travel to Maine campuses. Requires on-site time for collaboration and meetings. This grant-funded Level 3 role supports the Maine Community College System's workforce development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Two years of work experience in communications, marketing/public relations, or related field
- Experience in higher education, workforce, or a nonprofit organization preferred
- Graphic design experience
- Photography and video creation and editing experience
- Proven results in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and analytics
- Web and CRM management experience
- Experience with database management, spreadsheets, and Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro)
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently
- On-site time for events, team collaboration, and meetings
- Regular travel to Maine's community college campuses
