Job Summary
Marketing and Communications Coordinator responsible for executing marketing strategies, producing and coordinating content across channels, and supporting brand and donor communications. Core duties include graphic design and content creation (Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop) for print collateral, decks, and digital assets; social media coordination and analytics-driven strategy; website and intranet updates; and collaboration on agency-wide branding and donor engagement initiatives. The role requires proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong storytelling and interviewing skills, and the ability to manage multiple communications projects while adhering to trauma-informed language guidelines and agency branding standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in marketing and communications
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation
- Strong writing and editing experience for external audiences
- Ability to work under confidentiality and collaborate across teams
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field is preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Minimum of two years of experience in marketing and communications
- Demonstrated experience with all social media platforms, collateral support and graphic design to advance the organization's mission and goals
- Successful writing and editing experience with a variety of online media for external audiences
