Job Summary
Develop, coordinate, and implement a marketing plan to increase facility census, aligning with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and local regulations. Collaborate with the facility Administrator and multidisciplinary team to qualify potential patients, manage admissions documentation, and maintain physician/case-manager relationships. Conduct outreach at local hospitals and in the community, oversee referrals and inquiries, ensure PDPM-compliant admissions documentation, protect patient data per HIPAA, manage operational budget, and support marketing initiatives through presentations and events. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong English communication skills are required; willingness to drive to physician offices and hospitals and occasionally extend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years of sales/marketing/admissions experience in skilled nursing facilities
- Persuasive ability communicating in English both verbal and written
- Charismatic at delivering marketing presentations to individuals or groups
- Ability to work with acute case managers, social workers and physicians
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be accurate with details regarding residents medical records
