Field-based Market Systems Development Officer based in Yabelo, Oromiya region, tasked with translating high-level guidance into practical field actions across market systems, SME rollout, market linkages, and financial inclusion. Key duties include market mapping and assessments, private sector engagement with suppliers and buyers, facilitating formal agreements and risk-sharing models, building the capacity of SMEs, coaching and mentoring, financial literacy and access to finance initiatives, and rigorous field reporting. The role requires collaborating with local actors, SMEs, VSLAs/SACCOs, and financial institutions to enable inclusive livelihoods, particularly for women and youth, within the EMPOWER project. Requires a BA/BSc; 3-5 years of progressive INGO experience; EC/EU donor exposure; strong stakeholder management and ability to translate strategic plans into actionable field activities. Based in Yabelo with frequent travel to project sites; contract until November 2027 with annual renewals; salary listed as 340 USD monthly.
