Job Summary

Support all phases of quantitative and qualitative research for the Future of Film and Future of Series landscape studies, from early design through final delivery. Translate data into clear, actionable insights by sourcing, synthesizing, and contextualizing information from proprietary data, third-party sources like Box Office Mojo, and cultural signals. Conduct ongoing trend analysis across film, television, streaming, and audience behavior while managing survey logic proofing, link testing, and QA. Collaborate with internal teams on programming, fieldwork, and design to ensure clean execution on tight timelines. Assist with presentation development, including slide builds and script drafting, and leverage AI-enabled approaches to enhance insight generation.

Required Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. degree in areas such as Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics or a related field
  • Full-time employment
  • Exempt position classification
  • Location in the Los Angeles area
  • Ability to regularly attend in-person meetings and presentations

  • Prior internship or work experience in market research or consumer insights
  • Hands-on-academic research experience
  • Writing and storytelling skills to connect dots and turn complex research findings into clear, compelling narratives
  • Curiosity and future-mindedness regarding audiences, technology, and content strategy
  • Skill as a consumer-to-market translator
  • Natural problem-solving instincts
  • Comfort working with structured and unstructured data to identify trends and insights
  • Experience visualizing data with tools such as Excel and Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with statistical significance testing, correlation analysis, multivariate analysis techniques (such as cluster/segmentation analysis), and conjoint and discrete choice analysis
  • Experience with SPSS, Q, or advanced analytics
  • Experience using AI tools
  • Internally-motivated self-starter
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Hawk-eyed attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously within a team
