Job Summary
Cultivate long-term client relationships by providing personalized financial solutions, cross-selling products, and referring clients to partners across mortgage, investments, and wealth management. Resolve complex customer maintenance issues, process transactions accurately, and educate clients on digital banking channels while maintaining contact through proactive touch points. Achieve sales and service targets by marketing consumer and small business banking services via lobby engagement, outbound calls, and marketing campaigns. Work at multiple branches to know local personalities and actively participate in community outreach efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum one year relationship-based client consultation and/or consultative sales experience
- Eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or currently NMLS registered
- Minimum one year banking experience including deposit/transaction processing, account servicing, new account opening and consumer lending
- Currently registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or previously registered and eligible to immediately re-register
Desired Qualifications
- banking industry a plus
- existing experience in a similar role at another financial institution
- successfully completed the requirements of a Relationship Banker, including all new hire training and the Relationship Banker Learning Path within defined timeframes
- bankers with existing experience in a similar role at another financial institution
- Encouraged to participate in their community through service in a Community Organization, Not-for-Profit volunteer, Business-Related Networking groups, or similar organizations
- Completes Relationship Banker Development Program to demonstrate advanced proficiency in role
