Job Summary
Senior Quality Engineer to support Market Quality Engineering for Honda’s domestic/export product lines. Responsible for evaluating countermeasures from factories, developing repair instructions for the market (including Export/CCA coverage), creating and validating software/OTA updates, reviewing software releases, and providing dealership technical support to ensure high-quality diagnostics and repairs, promote fixed first visit, and strengthen lifetime owner loyalty. Collaborates across multiple groups (Analytics, Publications, Service News, Warranty, Tech Line, and Product Development) to monitor post-bulletin repair effectiveness, identify root causes, and drive improvements through Training, Publications, and Field feedback. Includes equipment such as SMC/OTA tooling, data review, and customer-facing documentation, with regular dealer visits and cross-functional coordination to resolve market concerns and optimize service processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related major) and/or work experience
- Minimum Experience six plus years or work experience plus 1 year of experience working within an automobile manufacturer's service/engineering department
- Vehicle evaluation skills with strong emphasis on automotive system knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
