Job Summary
Market Quality Coordinator supports STARS/HEDIS initiatives in a senior-focused outpatient primary care setting. Responsibilities include medical record reviews to close quality gaps, documenting and uploading records to the EMR, conducting patient outreach calls to support screenings, scheduling ancillary visits, and collaborating with market leaders to address roadblocks and execute center- and market-level quality initiatives. Requires knowledge of quality measures, HIPAA compliance, OSHA standards, and proficiency with EMR (EClinicalWorks) and Microsoft Office. Education includes a high school diploma or GED plus graduation from a Medical Assistant program (or comparable vocational training) and BLS certification; experience with geriatric patients and CMS STARS/HEDIS is preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience
- Experience working with geriatric patients a plus
- Experience with CMS STARS/HEDIS programs preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- HIPAA confidentiality and ethical documentation practices
- Ability to work in a primary care, senior-focused outpatient setting
- Culturally competent and patient-centered communication
