Job Summary
Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance and safety protocols aligned with government regulations such as SQF, PACA, USDA, and FDA. Verify and analyze quality processes through sampling, evaluation, and statistical analysis to ensure compliance with product specifications, making decisions on product acceptance, rejection, or rework in distribution centers. Create strategies to improve inspection processes and monitor departmental performance indicators while managing data for evaluation. Handle rejections and coordinate collections for rework to production plants. Requires 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety, a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, and bilingual English and Spanish proficiency. Schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety
- Bachelor's in Agriculture, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering and/or Business and Administration (graduated or in the process of graduating)
- English Required
- Manufacturing

- Analysis of results and the operation
- Mathematical, technical, and statistical skills
- Understanding of quality and safety standards and technical analysis of products
