Job Summary

Lead the administration, development, and performance of State and Regional PACE Programs for a specified geographic region, achieving goals in compliance, financials, operations, quality, and customer service. Oversee profit and loss for all centers within the region, managing revenue, participant volume, and expenses aligned with corporate forecasts. Direct medical and nursing directors to deliver compliant PACE services, execute growth initiatives for participant census and community partnerships, and maintain relationships with state agency partners on policy and regulatory changes. Supervise direct reports, conduct hiring and performance reviews, and build a high-performance culture through coaching and clear goal setting. Oversee operational outcomes to reduce waste and improve program affordability. Requires 15+ years in operational functions and 10+ years in supervision. Full relocation required; overnight out-of-state travel necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or another human services related field from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of fifteen years' total related experience working in operational functions, which includes identifying profitable business opportunities, as well as starting up and growing businesses, developing strategies, managing resources, and overseeing the financial performance for an organization
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in a supervisory and/or administrative capacity
  • In-depth knowledge of health care delivery and financing systems, including Medicaid, Medicare, waiver programs, prospective and capitated systems, public health programs, and HMO/Managed Care
  • Current experience and knowledge of current concepts, theories and practices related to the home and community-based care, care coordination, and emerging health care delivery programs or services
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare, social services, and aging networks, as well as relevant federal and state systems
  • Proven experience managing start-up businesses into financially responsible, service oriented mature business lines
  • Strong understanding of health care dynamics and economics as it relates to profitability
  • Must be open to relocation based on business necessity

  • Must be able to effectively partner with Provider Network team to ensure an adequate and aligned team of providers is available in our markets to serve our participants in a compliant and efficient manner
  • Must be able to effectively work with the Regional Medical and Nursing Directors to lead and manage the centers and teams in their region
  • Must be able to effectively maintain and lead strong relationships with our state agency partners
  • Must be able to effectively support the broader organizational education by providing ongoing market environmental and competitive information and perspective through developing and maintaining strong relationships within the community, including providers, business partners, and community alliances
  • Must be able to effectively coordinate with the President & COO and CMO to effectively develop strategic goals and turn those goals into specific operating and business plans that are executed at the regional and center level
  • Must be able to effectively partner with Provider Network team to ensure an adequate and aligned team of providers is available in our markets to serve our participants in a compliant and efficient manner
