Job Summary
Prepare quality beverages and merchandise for guests while maintaining a clean, well-presented store and cafe environment. Execute efficient inventory control, including restocking, markdown optimization, and replenishment systems, ensuring all products are organized and properly labeled. Resolve guest concerns proactively and partner with leadership on elevated issues, while assisting with training new team members. Correctly perform end-of-shift paperwork and adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required, maintaining a consistent attendance record and ready to perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Work Permit
- Washington State Food Handlers cert
- Hepatitis A Vaccination
- Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification
- Available and willing to nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
- Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discrimination in sound
- Constantly requires verbally expressing or exchanging ideas of important instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly
- Constantly requires working with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm
- Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Often requires walking or moving about to accomplish tasks
- Occasionally requires standing and/or sitting for sustained periods of time
- Occasionally requires ascending or descending stairs or ramps using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
- Occasionally requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally
- Occasionally requires stooping which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must possess excellent guest relations and guest service skills
- Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Good verbal communication
- Ability to follow direction in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Three months' related experience and/or training are helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working as a barista is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate computer literacy a plus
