Job Summary
Conduct target research to identify properties meeting acquisition criteria and lead due diligence for assets under contract. Compile underwriting material with analysts and present property and market-specific reports to management and the investment committee. Support acquisitions of high-priority Dalfen initiatives by contributing to sourcing, investment, and strategy development across the Central region portfolio. Assist senior leadership in anticipating and responding to investment and acquisition challenges to promote company growth and profitability. Manage complex projects within a vertically integrated firm that has raised multiple private equity funds and manages over 35 million square feet of industrial real estate.
Required Qualifications
- Completed undergraduate degree from top-tier accredited institution
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience leading a team (internal/external) on property operations
- Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals
- In-depth knowledge in sourcing and underwriting
- Highly motivated with strong work ethics
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a demanding work environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to create and edit Argus files
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Post graduate degree
- Proficiency in Argus, Co-star and Real Capital Analytics
- Real estate specific coursework and or work experience
