Job Summary
Receive delivery of soft drinks, bakery products, and specialty foods at client locations, then fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with pastries and packaged foods. Place stock on shelves or racks, ensure refrigeration of cold products, and oversee merchandise ordering and inventory control. Collect unsold and stale merchandise, process coin and bill payments from machines, and perform routine maintenance and sanitation. Maintain clean vending areas while communicating positively with customers through eye contact and smiling. This part-time role supports AVI Foodsystems' reputation for quality and value in the food service industry.
Required Qualifications
- Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees
- Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
