Job Summary
Market Merchandiser, Part Time at AVI Foodsystems is responsible for receiving deliveries of soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods, filling vending machines to proper inventory levels, placing stock on shelves or racks, ensuring refrigeration of cold items, overseeing inventory ordering, collecting unsold merchandise, and handling money from machines. The role emphasizes positive customer interaction, routine maintenance of machines, and maintaining clean vending areas. The position requires an outgoing personality, ability to work independently or as part of a team, strong organization and time-management skills, effective communication with customers and employees, and accuracy in calculations across units of measure.
