Job Summary
The Market Medical Director will oversee clinical operations for OBHG, focusing on new program starts, clinical leadership, hospital relationships, and business development support. Key responsibilities include collaborating with hospital leadership to ensure quality service delivery, participating in new program meetings, managing clinician issues, and ensuring effective communication with clinical teams. This position requires board certification in Ob/Gyn, at least one year of hospitalist experience, strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to travel as needed to various hospital locations.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced OBHG hospitalist presently working at least five (5) shifts each 28-day block
- Minimum of one year of hospitalist experience with OBHG
- Board Certified Ob/Gyn Physician
- Highly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with all stakeholders
- Team oriented, service minded, goal focused individual who believes in OBHG mission
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Able to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Served in a hospital-based leadership capacity (e.g. Chief OB, Department Chair, etc)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
