Job Summary
The Market Managing Director is primarily responsible for the overall growth and management of an assigned territory/market. Responsibilities include developing relationships with key partners, leading the implementation of a territory growth plan specific to the Middle Market P&C and EB businesses, managing the sales pipeline, overseeing P&L, and recruiting top talent for sales growth. The role requires effective talent development and mentorship, strong relationship management with carrier partners, and a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will have extensive senior-level experience in insurance, strong leadership, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience working in a senior-level role within an Insurance Carrier or National/Regional Brokerage operation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) is required and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Professional) is preferred.
- Creative thinker with superior written and oral communication skills.
