Market Manager - Texas (Dallas/Austin Based)

Job Summary
Develop and manage sales for all Antinori brands through the distributor network in the assigned Texas area. Cultivate relationships with key buyers and top 50 accounts while coordinating allocations, product placement, and promotional activities with the marketing team. Lead communication efforts with distributor reps to educate and support sales success, ensuring adherence to financial and volume performance goals. Provide market intelligence on trends, competition, and product development to management. Prepare for sales calls, supplier visits, and events; manage travel, expenses, and market recap reporting. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related discipline
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience selling wines through multi-tiered distribution channels
- Experience selling both domestic and import wines
- Must be an effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Comfortable in front of large and small audiences
- Must possess strong listening skills
- Outstanding sales skills (follow-up, closing, overcoming objections)
- Good PC skills (Windows: Word/Excel/Power Point)
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be able to juggle multiple situations
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to learn and use effectively SLWC's reporting tools
- Experience planning/coordinating events
- Outstanding time management skills
- Must possess a high level of integrity
- Must be self-confident
- Must have an excellent ability to build relationships
- Understanding of the importance of providing outstanding customer service
- Creative with a winning attitude
- The selling abilities of telling a story and influencing
- Passion for and extensive knowledge of Domestic and Import wines
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to travel including overnight stays both domestic and international
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Must have a valid Driver's license in the state employed
- Must meet the Company's automobile insurance requirements
