Job Summary
Direct daily operations of a storage center by managing associates, assigning drivers, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and local regulations. Recruit, train, and coach staff while administering performance management and resolving employee issues. Manage customer experience to meet CSAT goals, enforce brand standards, and coordinate repairs for corporate assets. Maintain accurate equipment logs, manage petty cash, and reconcile inventory. Ensure routing efficiency, driver scheduling, and adherence to Hours of Service. Travel frequently throughout the local territory, with some weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 1 years of prior management experience
- Current/valid driver license from the state in which position is assigned
- PODS forklift certification
- Mechanical ability to identify problems with equipment
- Ability to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to type on a keyboard and use a mouse
- Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to stoop, bend and lift up to 40 lbs
- Close and peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset
- Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset
- Regular business hours
- Some additional hours including Saturdays/Sundays
- Travel within Local Territory
- Pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening
- Random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Ability to apply and successfully attain CDL Class B License or higher
- Valid DOT medical card
