Job Summary
Direct daily operations of PODS storage centers within a designated territory and lead a team of associates. Responsibilities include recruitment, coaching, and training; ensuring OSHA/DOT compliance and safe operation of equipment; managing daily routing, driver assignments, and customer experience to meet PODS standards; overseeing performance management, HR-related reporting, and adherence to company policies; coordinate with local municipalities and ensure regulatory compliance; occasional travel within local territory and hands-on leadership to maintain safe, clean, and efficient storage centers. Key skills include personnel leadership, scheduling, regulatory compliance (DOT/OSHA), fleet and equipment maintenance, customer-focused operations, and effective communication with teams and HR.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- College degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of prior management experience
- Ability to apply and successfully attain CDL Class B License or higher preferred
- Current/valid driver license from the state of assignment
- Must be able to obtain PODS forklift certification
- Possession of a valid DOT medical card preferred
- Mechanical ability to identify problems with equipment
