Job Summary
Market Manager responsible for leading Portillo’s market operations in the Chicago area with a focus on delivering top-tier guest experience, achieving EBITDA and sales targets, managing market P&L and labor standards, and developing a high-performing leadership team. Responsibilities include field-focused leadership (90% in the field), coordinating opening of new restaurants, ensuring health/safety standards, driving culture and values, coaching and developing staff, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive strategic change and performance across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional organization skills and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution
- Proven self-starter who sets aggressive plans and meets challenges
- Willingness to travel up to 80%
