Job Summary
Market Leader – Aviation (Construction) in Houston leads strategy and growth for the aviation construction market across Texas. Drive overall strategy, positioning, and growth; identify high-value aviation opportunities (airports, terminals, hangars, MROs); set revenue targets and go-to-market plans; build relationships with airport authorities, municipalities, and developers; lead RFQ/RFP pursuits and proposal development; represent the firm at industry events; serve as executive sponsor on major aviation projects; collaborate with operations, estimating, and preconstruction teams; contribute to staffing, resource planning, and risk management for aviation sector projects. Requires 10+ years in construction with at least 5 years in aviation projects on the GC side; proven business development and client-management experience; strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction, with at least 5 years in aviation-related projects on the GC-side
