Market Grille Cook at Hy-Vee provides prompt, efficient customer service and prepares a variety of hot and cold foods for the Market Grille, including heat-and-eat items. Responsibilities include cooking on grills, preparing vegetables, meats and breakfast items, portioning and placing items in hot cases, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness, following department guidelines, assisting customers, and working as part of a team to ensure a positive shopping experience. Requires knowledge of menu items, ability to learn customers’ names, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards; education requirement is high school or equivalent with six months or less of related work experience. The role is on-site in Muscatine, IA with pre-employment drug screening.
