Job Summary
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting shoppers, answering phones, and taking orders at the Market Grille counter. Review and fill customer orders, prepare and replenish food products, and run department registers to process payments. Handle food safely, maintain a clean work area, and remove trash while adhering to company guidelines. Wash dishes as necessary, order supplies, and assist in other store areas as needed. Report to work on schedule and maintain personal hygiene standards.
Required Qualifications
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently, and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Depth perception
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
- Field of vision
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction; copying figures, counting and recording
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information
- Ability to request supplies orally or in writing
