Market Grille Clerk

Market Grille Clerk at Hy-Vee responsible for providing prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in-store. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking and processing customer orders at the Market Grille counter, handling payments, operating the department registers, stocking and replenishing products, ensuring food safety and clean work areas, preparing and replenishing food as needed, reviewing orders and coordinating with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction, and assisting with miscellaneous tasks to enhance the shopping experience. Must be able to carry out detailed instructions, perform simple calculations, follow verbal or written directions, and work in a store environment with potential noise and deadlines. No formal education required; six months or less of related experience preferred. Working conditions include physical activity (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, etc.) and exposure to typical store hazards. Employment is contingent upon successful pre-employment drug screening.
