Job Summary
Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers, learning their names, and taking orders at the Market Grille counter while answering the telephone. Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare or replenish items by pulling from coolers and freezers to ensure adequate supply. Handle food safely by checking freshness, maintaining a clean work area, and running the department register for payments and change. Price and order product, deliver orders, remove trash, and wash dishes as needed. Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in other store areas as assigned. No education required; training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Prior food service experience is a plus
- Ability to safely use sharp knives and blades for food preparation
- Exposure to heat- and burn-related hazards associated with cooking, baking, or grilling equipment
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in accordance with applicable DOT standards
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen
