Job Summary
Market Director of Revenue Strategy leads revenue management activities for a hotel or multi-property market, overseeing pricing, inventory management, demand forecasting, and opportunity analysis. Responsibilities include developing and executing pricing strategies for transient, group, and catering segments; preparing and communicating sales strategy and pricing to key stakeholders including General Managers, franchisees, and owners; managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions; utilizing revenue management systems to maximize revenue and profit; budgeting for transient, group, and catering segments; conducting regular market analyses, forecasts, and quarterly reviews; building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and guiding the team in data-driven decision making to optimize profitability. The role also involves leading strategic planning efforts (6-month, 12-month, and 2-year plans), ensuring brand integrity, and providing expertise in revenue-management processes and tools.
