Market Development Specialist, Siding and Trim - Greater Philadelphia

Job Summary
Generate awareness and create demand for Royal Building Products by influencing contractors, builders, and architects to request our siding and trim solutions. Execute a demand strategy in the Greater Philadelphia area and along the I-95 corridor by calling on architects, remodeling companies, and new construction builders to make our products the first choice. Manage and support existing distribution accounts while developing new ones, maintaining a target list with the Channel Manager and delivering at least 12 quality presentations weekly to builders, remodelers, installers, and specifiers. Work regional home and garden shows and trade events to develop leads, researching competitor clients to identify future opportunities. Travel 80% of the time, including multiple nights away, with a valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' work experience in a related role
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Detail oriented
- Enthusiastic, self-starter with good interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills and ability to speak comfortably in front of groups
- Working knowledge of MS office suite including teams and outlook 365
- Experience with Salesforce or other deal desk systems
- 80% travel on average
- Ability to be away from home for multiple nights per week
- Riding in automobiles for several hours per day
- Insurability and valid US state driver's license
