Job Summary
Market Development Manager responsible for driving sales performance by managing wholesalers, executing Constellation’s Retail Vision, and leading training and development initiatives for wholesalers under management. Works with the area GM to execute the business plan for a high-priority sales territory, and leads wholesale management, sales planning, pricing, budgets, new product rollouts, and volume-driving initiatives while coordinating with national and regional accounts. Requires building strong relationships with customers, monitoring inventory and distribution, and traveling as needed (up to ~15% of time). Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the CPG space and at least 3 years of consumer product sales and sales management experience; proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Circana, and Power BI; and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in the CPG business
- Minimum of 3 years of consumer product sales and sales management experience
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint
- Experience with Circana and Power BI
- Ability to travel minimum 15% of time, including driving up to 5 hours
