Job Summary
Market Development Director – Endoscopic Suturing leads a multi-state U.S. territory for launching a next-generation endoscopic suturing platform. Drive adoption among Interventional GIs and Bariatric Surgeons, originate new hospital/ASC sites through labs and activations, and act as a builder-leader with strategic market insight. Manage pipeline with rigorous forecasting and visibility while traveling up to 80% to engage decision-makers, surgeons, and staff across the region. Requires experience in medical device or capital equipment sales, entrepreneurial drive, strong strategic negotiation skills, and a collaborative, mission-driven approach to scale a disruptive technology.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of success in medical device or capital equipment sales, ideally with disruptive technology in a growth-stage company
- Hunter mindset: entrepreneurial, resilient, proactive in building a pipeline from scratch
- Strategic skillset: comfortable selling off-contract, structuring local hospital/ASC agreements
- Team-first orientation: collaborative, mission-driven, not a lone wolf
