Job Summary
Lead market development and customer engagement for engineering and professional services across infrastructure sectors. Define demand, shape strategy and capability, and own prioritisation of opportunities. Build and manage strategic customer relationships, provide market and customer intelligence to inform strategy and investment, ensure work-winning alignment with marketing, BD and tendering, and oversee disciplined handover of opportunities into delivery. We’re seeking a strategic, commercially astute leader who can balance customer needs with delivery capability in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in strategy development and execution within engineering, infrastructure or professional services
- Experience in market development, customer management or commercial leadership
- Proven ability to manage senior customer relationships and influence long-term strategic outcomes
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, procurement environments and customer decision drivers
- Experience shaping and prioritising opportunities in line with strategy and delivery capability
- Demonstrated experience in work-winning environments, including bid shaping and tender processes
- Proven leadership skills with ability to oversee a team and deliver high-quality outcomes across multiple fronts
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence without direct authority
