Market Development Analyst - Graduate Programme

Market Development Analyst – Graduate Programme role in Sibelco’s Global Graduate Programme. The two-year rotational programme includes two one-year assignments in key operational and commercial roles, with a permanent contract from the start. The role focuses on supporting the VCP program in the Dessel cluster and identifying new market opportunities for existing glass and construction sand products, with potential second-year placement in a different cluster for international or regional exposure. Key responsibilities include conducting market research and competitive analysis to assess market potential and positioning; identifying and evaluating new target markets; defining and refining value propositions without changing core applications; collaborating with sales and technical sales to align market strategy with business objectives; preparing strategic recommendations, presentations, and reports; and supporting go-to-market strategy development for new customer or geographic markets. The ideal candidate has a degree in business, engineering, or related commercial field; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; leadership, communication, and project management skills; interest in market development, sales, and business strategy; proficiency in desktop research, Excel, and PowerPoint; and openness to spending the second year of the programme in a different cluster for international/regional experience.
