Job Summary
Market Development Advisor at Humana, on-site at Fort Drum, reporting to a Market Director. You will manage the daily TRICARE contract within your assigned geography, overseeing TRICARE activities across PSAs, NPSAs, MTFs, Coast Guard clinics, and National Guard/Reserve units. Provide consultative services to DHN and MTF personnel to sustain a high-quality, integrated healthcare system aligned with the Military Health System Quadruple Aim. Direct daily TRICARE service delivery and network operations, including customer support, outreach, network adequacy, access-to-care standards, provider relationships/education/management, and responses to inquiries from beneficiaries, providers, and government personnel. Lead development and deployment of Alternative Payment Methodologies and Demonstration Pilots aligned to Value-Based Care models. Partner with community agencies to connect military families with local programs that enhance health and resilience. Position may require travel and work during uncommon duty hours to conduct oversight and outreach activities.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required per Department of Defense contract
- interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS)
- 5 years of leadership and management experience
- Experience with fiscal stewardship or managing cost trends
- Network management and development experience
- Managed care experience
- Experience coordinating activities of diverse functions
- Preferred Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Military Health System
- Experience with TRICARE contracts
- Scheduled Weekly Hours 40
- This position is with Humana and requires on-site work at Fort Drum
