Job Summary
Market Data Applications Support Associate responsible for 2nd/3rd line support of core Market Data services/applications (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG Workspace, FactSet, QUICK), vendor coordination for packaging and releases, incident/change management, and collaboration with traders and vendors. Requires strong troubleshooting, Windows desktop familiarity, PowerShell/VB scripting, documentations, and Japanese language proficiency; role involves cross-border coordination with APAC/EMEA/NA teams, and working within a follow-the-sun model to ensure data application reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in TCP/IP and connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills with traders, support teams, vendors, venues, and exchanges
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and managing high-profile issues
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and Visual Basic
- Familiarity with change management structures and ticketing systems
- Strong documentation skills and knowledge management
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently and in a team
- Experience supporting applications on Windows Virtual Desktop environments and streaming platforms
- Fluent in Japanese (written and spoken)
