Job Summary
Market Cashier at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort (graveyard shift) oversees guest service in the Market Quick Service Restaurant, rings in orders, handles cash, processes payments, and assists with delivering orders to dining rooms. Responsibilities include taking orders in POS, ensuring accurate cash handling, maintaining order accuracy and timely service, supporting other casino outlets as needed, and upholding 4-Diamond service standards. Must work nights/weekends/holidays, maintain health and safety standards, support banquet/catering events as required, and complete mandatory certifications (Food Handler, DRAM/alcohol certification, Title IV). Requires ability to lift over 50 lbs, obtain various licenses, and pass a background check and drug screening. Indian preference applies. Additional duties include inventory support, opening/closing side work, and maintaining menu knowledge and upselling ability.
Required Qualifications
- One year as a cashier or server in a hospitality-related business
- Must have a valid food handler certification
- Must complete Title IV certification
- Must complete DRAM certification or similar certification for alcohol service
- Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including an extensive background check)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Experience with InfoGenesis point-of-sale systems
- Memorize menus and upsell items
- Knowledge of health department standards
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds
