Job Summary
Market Asset Servicing - Risk Analyst (Vice President) leads risk analysis for voluntary corporate actions across all lines of business within the Markets Asset Servicing team. You will review event details, calculate market exposure, oversee event capture and instruction issuance, ensure timely submissions to custodians and trading counterparties, supervise projects to improve efficiency and reduce risk, investigate complex issues, and produce daily risk management reports. The role requires senior-level collaboration with Prime Finance, Trading, and cross-functional teams, a strong background in asset servicing operations and corporate actions, proven risk analysis and controls experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include experience with Prime Finance, Equity Derivatives, or Fixed Income products, advanced degree or CFA/FRM certification, experience with reconciliation tools and risk reporting systems, knowledge of regulatory requirements, experience in a global, matrixed organization, and proficiency with data analysis tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Asset Servicing or related field
- Strong knowledge of corporate actions and asset servicing operations
- Proven risk analysis and operational controls experience
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong understanding of the transaction or trade lifecycle
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- High adaptability and proactive approach to change
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in process improvement and project management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Experience with Prime Finance, Equity Derivatives, or Fixed Income products
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM)
- Experience with reconciliation tools and risk reporting systems
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in asset servicing
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Track record of driving operational change
